They are looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager who can support the Store Manager and ensure smooth daily operations.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:

As Assistant Manager, you will assist in managing the entire store operation. You will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, controlling stock, and maintaining store standards. You will need to have good knowledge of retail hours including weekends and public holidays.

This role starts as a 4-month fixed-term contract. If your performance is excellent, you will be offered a permanent contract. This is a great chance to prove yourself and secure a long-term career with SPAR.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EXPLAINED:

1. Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in retail or as a supervisor. This shows you can lead a team and handle a busy shop.

2. Systems Knowledge: You must have good knowledge of retail systems. SIGMA experience will be an advantage.

3. Clean Record: You must have no criminal record.

4. References: You must provide contactable references.

5. Working Hours: You must have been prepared to work retail hours.

6. Transport: You must have you own transport to get to work on time for early shifts.

7. Location: Preferably staying in Mitchells Plain or Southern Suburbs for easy access to the store.
